CrisisCon Awards
CrisisCon is proud to recognize and celebrate the exceptional work being done across the behavioral health crisis field. Our annual awards honor organizations demonstrating outstanding achievement, innovative approaches, and a significant commitment to furthering our collective mission of providing compassionate and effective crisis support. We invite you to nominate organizations that have made a remarkable impact in one of the following vital sectors:

Award Categories:
  • Crisis Helpline Award: This award recognizes a crisis line organization that has demonstrated exceptional dedication to providing immediate, accessible, and high-quality emotional support, de-escalation, and resource connection via phone, text, or chat. We seek nominations highlighting innovative training practices, impactful community engagement, outstanding volunteer or staff support, or significant positive outcomes for individuals in crisis.
  • Crisis Residential & Respite Award: This award honors a crisis residential or respite care facility that has shown outstanding innovation in providing safe, supportive, and person-centered short-term care for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. We encourage nominations that showcase unique program models, creative therapeutic approaches, successful integration with the broader crisis system, or demonstrable positive impact on reducing hospitalizations and promoting stabilization.
  • Mobile Crisis Award: This award celebrates a mobile crisis team or program that has demonstrated exceptional achievement in providing timely, on-site crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization services within the community. We are looking for nominations that highlight innovative outreach strategies, effective collaboration with community partners (law enforcement, hospitals, etc.), successful engagement with underserved populations, or demonstrable positive outcomes in de-escalating crises and connecting individuals to appropriate care.

Nomination Criteria: While each category has its specific focus, all nominations should highlight how the organization demonstrates:
  • Outstanding Achievement: Significant accomplishments and positive impact within their respective sector.
  • Innovation: The implementation of creative and effective approaches to crisis care.
  • Furthering the Work: A clear commitment to advancing the field of behavioral health crisis services and improving outcomes for individuals in crisis.

Nomination Deadline: August 28, 2025
